HARA Committee (2024-2025)

Chair - Andy Wallis

Andy works locally as a self-employed electrician. He has lived in the Cruden/Hatton area since 1985.  He decided to join HARA as he didn’t want to see it shut down and to hopefully continue to make improvements in the village as previous HARA members have done.

Vice Chair - Donna Mcken

Donna was born and raised by her parents in the village. She has worked and lived away a few times but always come back.
Donna says, “Our lives have all changed since Covid and lockdown and I feel the village has lost a bit of its sparkle and the community it created before and even stronger during it. “
She would like to help re-energise the village in any way she can. She wants to try to re-create our community spirit, making Hatton a great place to raise families and keep attracting lots of people so we can have an inclusive and diverse place to live.

Treasurer - Lisa Watson

Lisa and her husband have lived in Hatton since 2008. She is a Finance Professional with over 25 years of experience across various sectors and industries.  Lisa says, “I have a passion for working with charities and the local community and am currently the Finance Manager for a Local Charity. She is a level 1 ECB cricket coach, Rainbow Leader and Trustee of North East Scotland Cricket.

Secretary - Yvonne Beagrie

Yvonne moved to the village in October 2021 with her husband and two kids.  She works for the NHS. I  She says, “I joined HARA to see more community events to get all age groups together,”

Committee Member - Naomi Delday

Naomi was born in Edinburgh and has lived in Hatton since 2012. She has three children and works at Camphill Murtle Estate in Aberdeen. Naomi says, “I joined the committee as I think if you have an opinion you are better to use it to try and create positive change.”

Committee Member - Nomi Dunthorne

Nomi has lived in Hatton with her partner and four boys for 30+ years. She works in Murdoch Allan. She says she joined HARA because the committee needs someone to ask silly questions, while not really knowing what's going on but fully willing to try help in any way.
